Pizzelle cookies are said to have originated in the middle part of Italy many years ago. These crispy cookies were made by many families in this region using specially made irons, often crafted with each family's crest on it. This particular hand-held Pizzelle has a flower pattern in the center of the iron, and comes with heat-resistant wood handles.
